Last week we had the great joy of opening our new children’s home Casa Maria.
We were delighted that Her Royal Highness Princess Maria of Romania, under whose High Patronage we are, cut the ribbon for the inauguration of Casa Maria.
The event continued with the consecration service of the house, performed by Father Ioan Bondar and a council of priests.
Casa Maria is a family-style cottage, designed in accordance with the new European norms that support the integration of children in a family environment. It currently houses 12 children with moderate and severe neurological conditions, whom we support to grow up with love, understanding and services adapted to their needs.
The inauguration ceremony continued with a reception offered by His Excellency the Ambassador of Great Britain in Bucharest, Mr. Andrew Noble and his wife Mrs. Helen Noble, to whom we thank for the support shown to our foundation.
We thank all the participants present at the event, the CID staff and those who have supported us so far!
