Hail, Rain or Snow the Roof Will Hold

New Builder Pulls Out All The Stops

A small team of dedicated workmen worked hard, despite the bitter cold to see the new roof put on to St Margaret's Children's Centre before the Festive Season.

Working in the very worst weather, the building team managed to cap the roof and even install the Velux windows, to ensure that the building would be as wind and watertight as possible.

Hope Springs Eternal

The builders are committed to doing as much as possible before the worst of the winter storms bring heavy rain or snow falls to see what can be done to wrap the walls or even complete as much of the construction as possible to offer added protection.

It looks as thought the ornate plaster ceilings in the St Nicholas' Therapy Suites may be saved after all or at worst minimally damaged by water incursion and that therapy services will be guaranteed throughout the winter.

Proves Just What a Good Builder Can Do

Our new builder has proven just what can be achieved when jobs are not just subcontracted out. His team first had to stabilise the steel structure and welding, and added structural steel before they could even start the roof itself.

Follow the Construction

A regular update on construction will be offered to readers until the work is done.
