Delegates at the seminar

Some of the psychologist, speech and language specialist and educational pychologists, who currently work with the children at  Saint Andrew’s Centre in Pitesti   took part  in a recent seminar  organised by the Arges Neuromotor Disabled People’s Association of  Curtea de Arges at the County Library. The meeting aimed at establishing new collaboration, partnerships and experience exchanges and the sharing information between the parties who work with people with disabilities – the local authorities and  their social and medical service providers.

The meeting is a part of the NoRo-Frambu project, a partnership for the future, financed through the SEE 2009-2014 NGO (Non governmental associations) grants, implemented in Romania between March 2015 – April 2016 by the Prader Willi Associattion (APWR).

This project’s objective is to improve access , from Romania to social and specialised care services for disabled people, who suffer from rare illnesses.
