New challenges for Alexandru Moroaca

Alexandru nonplussed by the latest setback in his education

The start of summer looked auspicious for Alexandru having passing many of his pre-exam evaluations with flying colours, he was hoping to be able to pass the final exams and take his Baccalaureate diploma. Unfortunately, as the CID social workers have reported, he now faces a difficult setback since his academic records for his first year of high school spent studying at Saint Filofteia Inclusive Educational Centre in Arges appeared to be missing.

So, when the Baccalaureate final examinations candidate list was published this week, Alexandro’s name could not be found, despite all the efforts of the Don Orione team and his teachers he was not allowed in the classroom where the Romanian Language written examination took place. If his paperwork doesn’t turn up, Alexandru will have to take the test in September when an additional session is organised by the Ministry of Education for students just like Alexandru with “paperwork” problems or for those who need a resit having failed one of the mandatory examinations.

Fingers crossed that Alexandru can l overcome this challenge and that he will pass his BAC exam, even if he has to sit it in the autumn.
