Celebrating Izabela’s Anniversary in the sun brings moments of joy and hope

The St Andrew’s care team are thrilled to share that a favourite resident Izabela Enache quietly turned 5 years old on the March 30. The sun was up bathing everyone with warm rays after a long, dismal, snowy winter. It announced the arrival of Spring with its mellow days, promising time to be spent outdoors listening to birds chirping and watching nature’s spectacle in the company of the children, so it was decided to throw an intimate party in the courtyard to mark Izabela’s special day. The team, gathered around the table to raise a glass of juice and savour some delicious celebration cake in her honour. They also prepared a special present for the birthday girl and she was so happy to receive it in the company of her closest friends, which included a nicely coloured sensory book with lots of farm animals, which feels so nice to touch and a cute sheep. Izabela was so delighted, that she took her new friend, “Sheepy”, for a walk around the garden.
