Celbrating Daniela’s 16th Birthday

Madalin desparate for a little bit of chocolate cate

At St. Andrew’s to encourage and stimulate the children in residence, the team celebrate each child’s birthday, anniversary, or milestone achievement or progress.

Recenlty for Daniela it was a major milestone birthday since she turned 16, and she thanked everyone for her   surprise birthday cake with gleaming and sincere smiles. Her birthday cake was ordered well in advance to a special recipe, either with either chocolate or exotic fruits, something to catch the eye and delight the senses. What was a ganache delight and nuts dark chocolate and dare say it tasted a bit of heaven with each bite. While the cake was being placed in front of the birthday girl, the staff gathered around the table to sing the “happy birthday”, an anthem that can be heard almost every week ringing out in St Andrew’s busy hallways, the kids burst into applause and transformed the moment into something special. The care team took it turns to administer hug and kiss to the birthday girl and to wish her many happy returns.

So belated Happy Birthday, Daniela! Your smiles mean the world to you care team and all of us at Children in Distress
