Remember; remember the 10th of November with Sevenoaks’s Coffee Tea and Cake Bake


Cakes to savour and enjoy 

Sue and Harry Ward, supporters of the charity and its work, have decided to host on Friday 10th of November between 10.00 am 2.30 pm, a Gala Cake Bake ‘Bring, Buy and Enjoy’ Event, to benefit the infants and children in the Hospices and Children’s Care Services of Children in Distress. They have generously decided to fling open the doors of their charming & beautifully presented period barn conversion, tucked away in the tranquil and convenient rural idyll of Styants Barn, Seal Chart Sevenoaks. For ease of travel, the postcode for this event is TN15 0ET

Sue Ward, will willingly welcome, any and every contribution, to the intended raffle, as prizes, those contributing bring and buy cakes and the help of volunteers to assist, especially with the sale of Christmas cards and gifts. Featured for sale will be a limited edition, high quality Christmas card, of a unique design, created by one of the disadvantaged children participating in one of the Charity’s education and welfare programme. The young girl involved, created this beautiful Christmas scene as part of an art therapy programme. Whilst on a recent project visit, Sue and Harry, were taken by the youngster’s design, purchased her work, specifically to put this unique card on sale to benefit the work of the project. Harry, who joined as a Trustee in 2015, recently took over as the Chair of the Trustee Group at their  Annual General Meeting
