Claudia’s days are just filled with fun

Claudia and her chums admire the birds

With the end of Grade 4 and the forthcoming long summer break on the near horizon, “Young” Claudia’s classmates have just had an exciting outing to Pitesti Zoo, organised as a treat by their class teacher. You can imaging the excitement of a whole class ready for an adventure, the more so since they hadn’t been in the zoo for quite some time. Parents, the classmates and their teacher excitedly clambered aboard the coach for the short journey that whisked them to the zoo and its collection of exotic animals, majestic tigers, beautiful bears, and aloof and just a little smelly Bactrian camels. The kids loved the tropical fish in the aquarium and were astounded by the colours and noise of the birds in the aviaries. The kids were fascinated by the information on each animal, and blown away by the stimuli and sensory information, which kept them all busily involved and fully entertained. The consensus was that the parrots with their beautiful plumage were the cleverest birds especially when one of Claudia’s classmates approached a bird and she was quite taken aback when it answered mimicking her calls.  To round off this perfect day at the zoo, their teacher took her class to  a nearby park where they had a little more fun in the playground using the swings.

Claudia has had quite a social life recently as she has also attended a children’s show organised at the  Valea Mare children’s centre, where local favourites “Bambilici Gang” and the “Minion Band” made an appearance. After their stand-up routine, the artists invited the children to dance and sing together and to take part in a variety of games

Claudia comes back from these adventures a little exhausted but with her batteries recharged ready to share the highlights and tales of her day.
