An International Children’s Day to remember at Saint Christofer’s Centre

Some of the kids sharing their face painting with readers

International Children’s Day is big event celebrated in style in Romania and the children in the Education programme at St Cristofer’, Curtea de Arges celebrated this 1str of June, with a surprise party sponsored by the Petron 11 Petrol Station. Petron 11 were represented by Cristina Guran their local representative, who came along with little individual gifts for each of the children. Everyone was quite excited, when out of the blue, a guest clown appeared   and the part got into full swing with dancing singing, the ubiquitous exotic face painting so beloved of children at great parties. The face-painting session was a hit of the day and the individual designs were generally admired. The kids just wolfed the pizza and savoured each delicious lick of their ice-cream desert.

For children who have learned not to have not have great expectations this event ticked all their boxes and allowed them to enjoy life to the full wit presents to  unwrap, games to  play, fun and laughter led by the party clown and painted faces with glitter and bright colours to take home with other happy memories.. Happy faces literally glowed and all they the day to go on forever, an ideal memory of truly carefree childhood.

This little group hope that children around the work had an equally wonderful Children’s Day.
